Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how myBOLTscore ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit myboltscore.com (the "Site"), take the BOLT test, or sign up for the 7-Day Breathing Reset. By using the Site you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who we are
myBOLTscore is operated by the team behind the O₂Pro Academy. For any privacy question or request, you can reach us at hello@myboltscore.com. For the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we act as the "data controller" of the personal information collected through the Site.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you request the 7-Day Breathing Reset or related content, we collect your first name, email address, and the BOLT score you generated on the Site. If you contact us by email, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site we (and our analytics providers) may collect standard log and device information, including IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from your IP. We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality and basic, privacy-respecting analytics.
Information we do not collect. We do not knowingly collect government IDs, payment card numbers, biometric data, or any "special category" health data beyond the BOLT score you voluntarily submit.
3. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Deliver the 7-Day Breathing Reset PDF and related educational emails you requested.
- Personalize follow-up content based on the BOLT score range you submitted.
- Operate, secure, debug, and improve the Site.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
Our legal bases under GDPR are your consent (for marketing emails and optional cookies), performance of a contract (to deliver the resources you requested), and our legitimate interests in running and improving a safe, useful site.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies and similar storage technologies. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the Site to function. Analytics cookies help us understand which pages are useful and where the experience can be improved. You can block or delete cookies through your browser at any time. Disabling cookies may affect Site functionality.
5. Service providers we share data with
We share the minimum amount of personal information required with trusted processors who help us run the Site. These currently include providers for hosting and infrastructure, database and backend services, transactional and marketing email delivery, customer relationship management (CRM), and product analytics. Each provider is contractually bound to use your data only on our instructions and to keep it secure.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition (in which case we will notify affected users).
6. International data transfers
Our service providers may process your data in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your information when it is transferred internationally.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep your name, email, and BOLT score for as long as you remain subscribed to our emails, plus a reasonable period afterwards to handle legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. If you unsubscribe and request deletion, we will erase your contact details from our active systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, port, restrict, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California (under the CCPA/CPRA) have specific rights, including the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, as those terms are defined under California law. We do not sell or share personal information in that sense.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@myboltscore.com. Every marketing email also includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Third-party links
The Site contains links to third-party websites such as O2andYou and the O₂Pro Academy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their policies before sharing personal information with them.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the Site after the changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
